For any ‘foodie,’ DelBello definitely has a family tree worth climbing. His ancestors have lived in the Jewish ghetto of Rome for more than 2,000 years... If restaurant families, like wine, get better with age, then the DelBellos should be the Rothschilds of Italian cuisine
— Len Lear, Pleasures of the Palate
The paper-thin scallopini of veal was melt-in-your-mouth tender, enhanced by a velvety sauce made with Marsala wine and black truffles. Served with a cushiony triangle of truffle-scented polenta and fresh vegetables, it was a memorable dish.
— Beth Ceccarelli, Main Line Today
I’ve been to Italy many times and find Tiramisu’s food just as it is in Rome... you actually feel like you’re there (but it’s much closer).
— Adam Cohen
One of my happy places...the artichokes are just decadent, - yes really, decadent veggies. The steak with the lovely mushroom sauce is possibly my favorite, but I’ve never had anything that was less than excellent. Would go every week if my waistline could afford it.
